I am dealing with spiritual lameness and correcting lenses in this season

    ‘ I AM DEALING WITH SPIRITUAL LAMENESS AND CORRECTING LENSES IN THIS SEASON’

       Recently, the Lord spoke to me and showed me that He is dealing with spiritual lameness and correcting lenses in the lives of His people in this season. There has been an assignment to cripple many and keep them in despondency and disillusionment due to various reasons and situations in their lives and to hinder their vision. 

As God was speaking these things to me I saw a person in a wheelchair, this person was slumped over and despondent, as I looked at the wheels, I could see barbed wire twisted around them preventing movement. I watched as Jesus stood before them and held out his hand. As they reached out to accept Jesus’ hand He opened his mouth and began to sing. I asked Jesus what it was he was singing and he responded “it is a song of release”. I watched as this person lifted their eyes to look at Jesus and as they did their eyes filled with light. 

I then heard God’s voice thundering “I LED CAPTIVITY CAPTIVE! I LED CAPTIVITY CAPTIVE!”

I knew that He was referencing Ephesians 4:8 that says “When He ascended on high, he led captivity captive….” and I sensed that He was coming to deal with these things in his people’s lives that he has already dealt with and paid for. There was a very strong sense that a key right now would be to ascend in worship and high praise and to come out of the place of burden, to lift their gaze unto Jesus and to fight from the victory that has already been won in Christ. 

The second part of Ephesians 4:8 is "and gave gifts unto men...some to be prophets, teachers, apostles, pastors and evangelists." This section was also highlighted to me as I felt to re-release this word. I feel that the Lord is saying that those who have been in this place of despondency need to step back into flowing in their God-ordained gifting once again. There has been a vacating of occupancy from these spaces and there is deliverance in stepping back into your assignment! As you awaken and arise by faith, you will see God breaking off the curses and ailments you've been dealing with for a long time.

He is calling prophets back to the front lines, and into new arenas. There is a brand new commissioning for prophets that have felt intimidated and discouraged.

 I was reminded of Isaiah 35 

“Strengthen the feeble hand, steady the knees that give way. Say to those with fearful hearts ‘be strong, do not fear. Your God will come, with divine retribution He will come and save you. Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, the ears of the deaf unstopped, the lame will leap like a dear and the mute tongue will shout for joy…” 

We are in an Isaiah 35 moment right now where God is coming with divine retribution into the lives of His people where there has been long standing bondage, lameness of spirit, weakness and crippling caused by the enemy. God is coming with recompense to set them free from the bondage that has enslaved them and kept them ineffective and contained. He is coming with supernatural strength. 

                                             THE BATTLE IS OVER VISION

    This demonic assault is over the vision that has been released and is now being released to you. There is a reclaiming of vision and a releasing of new vision with an even wider scope and the enemy is out to suppress it. There is an elevation that God is bringing to what you can see and how you are seeing right now. There is a divine upgrade in vision. I hear the Lord saying “Ask me for holy spirit lenses” through which to see your life. 

 Yesterday I was in Luke chapter 13 and I could feel the Lord all over the story of the woman who was in bondage to a spirit of weakness for 18 years. 

“One Sabbath day, while Jesus was teaching in the synagogue, he encountered a seriously handicapped woman. She was crippled and had been doubled over for 18 years. Her condition was caused by a demonic spirit of bondage that had left her unable to stand up straight. When Jesus saw her condition, he called her to him and gently laid his hands on her. Then he said, “Dear woman, you are free. I release you forever from this crippling spirit. Instantly she stood straight and tall and overflowed with glorious praise to God!” 

As I meditated on this passage I felt like God was highlighting that the demonic spirit referenced in this passage is one that specifically causes weakness. This woman was unable to straighten her body for 18 years, she lacked the physical strength to do so. This resulted in her being ‘doubled over’, which would result in her spending all that time looking at the ground, her feet and behind her because that is all that you can see in that position. She couldn’t help but look down and backwards.

I knew instantly that God was highlighting and addressing the issues of posture, positioning and vision of those who have felt drained of strength and unable to arise from their circumstances and mindsets. I felt the exhortation to ‘come close’ to Jesus in this season so that he could correct wrong lenses and bring clarity for people who are seeing through lenses that are bringing heaviness and hopelessness. 

There are so many that feel weighed down and ‘doubled over’ under the weight of relentless circumstances and afflictions. The word in Greek for ‘doubled over’ means to be completely and utterly overcome by something. They have become overwhelmed by situations that refuse to bow to the name of Jesus and so have in turn found themselves burdened beneath them. The word for ‘straighten’ used in this passage means to lift oneself either in body or soul and to be elated and to look up. These ones feel that no matter how hard they try they cannot get up from their position and cannot get into the place of hope again, they have been looking down and looking at past circumstances but I sense the Lord reminding them that they need to LIFT THEIR EYES from their circumstances, from their thoughts and feelings and to get them back onto Jesus and as they do a swift deliverance will take place. As you lift up your eyes and lock eyes with the one who overcame death itself, there is a SONG OF RELEASE being sung over you! 

 “I lift up my eyes up to the mountains, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, maker of heaven and earth”- Psalm 121

                                                 REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE

   Later in the passage Jesus refers to this woman as ‘a daughter of Abraham’. I feel that this is a key right now for many who have been in long standing bondage and battles for so long that they have forgotten who they are in Christ. They have forgotten their positioning as a daughter ro son of God. They have forgotten their authority. REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE AND REMEMBER WHOSE YOU ARE. You are not just anyone and you possess POWER and AUTHORITY to trample snakes and scorpions in the name of Jesus -Luke 10:19. Position yourself in the place of authority once again. 

Lastly I heard the Lord say “I am re-establishing them” and I began to hear him exhorting them to “STAND TALL FOR I AM RE-ESTABLISHING YOU”

Where there has been incredible loss and what seems like ruin in their lives, where the enemy has had them doubled over in disappointment and discouragement and even stolen their confidence, God was coming to strengthen them to see them ‘stand tall’ once again and be established anew. Move forward in confidence knowing that God is about to rebuild and re-establish you with double what the enemy stole, in Jesus name!
