Find me in your deepest drought, caught between desperation and desire. I am the one who brings the sudden rain. You labor in many things, but as Elijah labored in prayer the heavens were opened.
Why spend your money on what is not bread and your labor on what does not satisfy?-Isaiah 55:2
Only I satisfy, says the Lord. So come to me, labor in me for my work is easy and there you will find rest for your soul. Spend yourself on me, don’t hold back and you will experience my sovereign rain. What you cannot do in your own strength I will bring about with no added sorrow.
As the rain and snow come down from heaven and do not return without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater-so is my word that goes forth out of my mouth. It will not come return to me void but will accomplish that purpose for which I sent it.
-Isaiah 55:10-11
Faithful one, it is impossible for my word to fail. If I speak it, so it is. Do not wait for your eyes to see before you celebrate my miraculous provision. My word has been sent out to cause you to flourish and it won’t leave you until its work is complete.
So, beloved, what are you speaking? Are they my words or your own? My son only said what He heard me say. He knew the incredible power of words and how much more powerful they are when they align with my decrees. Listen for what I am speaking and come into agreement. Proclaim it over your life and don’t stop. Just as the heaven were opened or shut at Elijah’s word, there are some things I won’t do except at your word.
Prepare your heart for my rain. On what type of soil does my rain fall? Remove the rocks, pull up the weeds and chase away the birds that seek to devour before anything springs forth. Anchor yourself in me. All that was lost will be restored, all and more.
Vision:
I saw many people standing in a field and they were frantic and in distress. Suddenly the rain of God began to fall proceeded by a moving rainbow. I knew that the movement of this rainbow was like the sovereign arm of God extended over His people. As it passed over them their lives went from black and white to full spectrum color once again. As the rain fell there was great refreshing and restoration, there were gifts being given. The perfect gifts that can only come down from the Father of Lights.
I heard the Father speak “It’s my sovereign rain. I reign sovereign over all.”
When you, God, went out before your people, when you marched through the wilderness, the earth shook, the heavens poured down rain….You gave abundant showers, O God; you refreshed your weary inheritance. Your people settled in it, and from your bounty, God, you provided for the poor. The Lord announces the word, and the women who proclaim it are a mighty throng: “Kings and armies flee in haste; the women at home divide the plunder".-Psalm 68:7-12 NIV
(Notice how in this verse it says 'the Lord announces the word and then the women proclaim it'. The key to seeing the abundant rain of God is to proclaim what He is decreeing from heaven. Take time to listen in prayer to what God is speaking so you know what to speak over your life. Decree what you want to see.)
I saw that this was a season that many would gather and divide the spoils of war.
To those who feel as though they’ve been in a weary wilderness He says “I am coming to shake things up”. Allow God to lead you, allow Him to go out before you and as things are shaken there will be abundant rain.
I sense that there are so many that are in need of a POWER encounter with God. Things have been stagnant and seemingly immovable for far too long. There is NOTHING too hard for God. Seek Him today and cry out for a power encounter that changes everything. Get ready for the rain.
